This park was beautiful...It had a water mill and the start of the fall colors which made this park worth coming back for!
We had driven past this park the last time we went by the New River Gorge Bridge. I knew that we had to come back. Problem was in October they don't take reservations and we are 60 feet total and have a second truck in tow. I called, and the lady that answered said we wouldn't have any problem getting in. We took a big risk and it was totally worth it. We pulled in and there was only 1 other RV there, we found a spot and set up! It was wonderful there and definitely busier as the week went on since so many people had showed up to see the leaves change. Thank goodness we drove in on a Wednesday!
We hiked some of the trails around the gorge and just took it easy that week. We had some truck issues and made a decision to go straight to North Carolina as soon as we could.
